Present Natural Boundary Surveys
A natural boundary is not fixed, it may move dynamically with the passing of time. This creates some interesting challenges with respect to title and legal survey plans.
ACCRETION SURVEYS
Properties on lakes or rivers can gain land naturally, via accretion.
In order to have accreted land added to your title, an application by a BCLS must be made to the Surveyor General of BC, and upon receiving an approval, a legal survey is required to consolidate the accreted land with your title.
Our experience with the process, and relationships with key decision makers, help these applications to proceed efficiently.
NATURAL BOUNDARY SURVEYS FOR FORESHORE DEVELOPMENT OR ENCROACHMENT
Natural boundary determinations for planning purposes, environmental setback determination, various foreshore applications, and at the request of the province when a concern about possible encroachment arises.
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYS FOR DOCK AND MARINA DESIGN
AllTerra own sounding equipment for surveying the lake bed for marina and dock development. Together with RTK GNSS and a small craft, we can collect data to provide detailed hydrographic surveys in nearshore waters.
